Detective: You mentioned to the police something wrong with the Mascot when you first saw it. Do you mind explaining a little further?
Linda: Ugh, do I have to? [She shivers. There’s a pause before she continues.] Okay. Yeah. When our tour guide said “Look everyone, it’s Arkty!” It felt like she was expecting it to say something. But it didn’t. It just sat there, twitching. Whatever voicebox inside must’ve been on the fritz, as it just made a soft buzzing noise. That, paired with the missing eyes, just creeped me out.
